Euphonix, celebrating its 20th anniversary as a leading manufacturer of professional digital audio consoles and recording equipment is pleased to be able to showcase its range of EuCon powered DAW control surfaces in conjunction with the APRS – part of the 2008 APRS Technology Showcase season.

The hands-on showcase will feature the very latest Artist Series, a revolutionary new line of Ethernet-based DAW control surfaces for the personal studio market, together with the professional MC Pro and System 5-MC. All the Euphonix controllers can seamlessly control more than one application, instantly changing the worksurface to suit, and also control more that one workstation attached via a local LAN.

The list of EuCon partners continues to grow to include applications such as Apple Logic Pro 8, Steinberg Cubase & Nuendo, MOTU Digital Performer, Merging Technologies Pyramix Virtual Studio, Cakewalk Software SONAR 7 and also a number of hardware manufacturers such as Digital Audio Denmark with their Ax24 / Axion converters and the Apogee range of I/O via their Maestro software interface. The flexibility of the control surface design coupled with the power of EuCon is also clearly shown in the extensive control of Digidesign Pro Tools via EuCon HUI and also in the ability to control any other HUI/Mackie Control Universal featured application such as Final Cut Studio (Mackie Control Universal) and Sony Vegas (Mackie Control Universal).
