Friday December 12th 1997 from 7.30 pm
Strongroom Recording Studios, 120 Curtain Road, London EC2
DVD/Surround Room Sound Demonstrations and Christmas Drinks!!
Anyone interested in the latest developments in Digital Versatile Discs (DVD) and the Dolby 5.1 Surround system should be sure to put Tuesday 9th December in their diary. Dolby are arranging for special demonstrations of their new systems for Re-Pro members and their guests at the Strongroom Studios starting around 7.30pm.
It is hoped that the technical part of the evening can evolve into an opportunity for members and guests to share in some seasonal cheer with music, party hats and mince pies. The Dolby 5.1 system is to be included as one of the DVD formats expected to explode on the market next year.
