Established in 1974 as one of the first residential recording facilities in the UK, Sawmills is set in its own unspoilt tidal creek on the banks of Cornwall's River Fowey and is surrrounded by acres of natural woodland. Over the past two decades the studio has developed a unique atmosphere for creative work. The control room and studio are equipped to a high standard and are naturally lit, with waterside and woodland views.
The accommodation caters for six people and includes a producer's suite. This - together with superb food, varied recreation, 24-hour maintenance and a skilled house engineer - is inclusive in the weekly rate.
For more information ask for a colour brochure by calling the studio.
Satisfied clients include: Oasis, Supergrass, Octopus, Cast, Robert Plant, Stone Roses, XTC and many others.
Special features include the exceptional talents of John Cornfield as house engineer and the famous 'creek' ambience.
