PUSHING FOR NEW LONDON FACILITIES
The June newsletter of the Trade Association Forum was the platform for a comment by APRS chief executive Mark Broad, expressing some personal views about the deficiencies of the facilities now offered in London for conventions and exhibitions.
The present situation was far from compatible with London's status as a leading world centre of innovation and enterprise, he thought. And while from time to time new developments were mooted in Docklands and elsewhere, the consultation with such users as trade associations was seriously lacking.
Mark's article triggered response from several other trade bodies, mostly in full agreement, and the dialogue continues.
