V.A.T. - THE EUROPEAN DILEMMA
Many APRS members have expressed concerns about the treatment of VAT for goods and services they provide for clients in the European Union and other overseas territories. A particular issue for studios has identified a distinction drawn by some VAT advisers between supply of engineering services and the supply of facilities. Others believe that VAT collection can be avoided if the client pays VAT in his own territory and provides his own VAT number to be included in your invoice information. Various businesses in our industry has suffered from contrary advice on VAT for some time and so the APRS is presenting a special closed members meeting to be addressed by Graham Elliott, an independent VAT expert with particular experience with music business companies. |
